John is Head of Policy and Representation at Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber co-ordinating lobbying campaigns and research, resulting in the achievement of a national award for Campaigning Chamber of the Year in 2010.
He has a background working for the British Coal Corporation and local training companies. He has a Public Administration Degree from Leicester Polytechnic and a Diploma in Management Studies and Masters in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University. He was previously a Director of both Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Business Link Nottinghamshire.
John is 51, married with two children and two grandchildren.
