Event Description

The Forum was formed following incoming feedback from our Membership Satisfaction Survey in 2008 and enables all those members concerned with this very specific sector of industry to engage with us on lobbying and campaigning issues that will bring about improved operating conditions.

The meetings have a strand of best practice or industry development in order to provide inspiration and time for business networking. Chamber member companies are encouraged to host events so that they can showcase their strategies and highlight any supply chain opportunities.

Our first event for 2012, takes us to The University of Nottingham where Ian Wilson, Willmott Dixon will update delegates on the SCAPE Framework, outlining current opportunities and some of the major contracts won in our region, by local companies. The University of Nottingham will also be showcasing their on-site eco houses and will be delivering an update on the status of the buildings.
