A bi-monthly meeting, the Derbyshire Members' Council directs the Chamber's lobbying activities on matters on uppermost concern to members across the county.
This session focuses on the significance of the visitor economy to both city and county; and features a presentation by David James, Chief Executive of Visit Peak District & Derbyshire's Destination Management Partnership.
With a wide-ranging agenda that covers the interests of a broad cross-section of the Chamber's membership, these issues vary from transport priorities to red tape burdens, business taxation or public procurement. The Chamber's top priority is supporting its members through the worst effects of the recession, and uses its Forums, Bank of England and MP consultations to bring-about face-to-face engagement with the business community.
Meetings rotate around the county on member-premises; book your place by clicking the online reservation facility. For more information, contact 01246 212533 or nick.chischniak@dncc.co.uk
