International Events & Forums

Every year DNCC hosts an International Conference with local businesses joined by business people from several counties. This event, which showcases some interesting speakers, also provides exhibition opportunities. The International Trade Forum is held monthly and is free to attend. You are only a phone call away from free advice and support from an HR expert. The advice line is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

ChamberHR Plus

If you have additional requirements to the basic ChamberHR service, you can access a range of additional HR support. Members can now access a document validation service or a written advice service for a nominal extra cost and can also access a superior remote service with HR Plus One. Alternatively you can use the services of a dedicated HR specialist and benefit from one, two or a number of days HR consultancy.

Legal Expenses Insurance

Over £670,000 worth of professional fees across no less than 12 areas of cover, including Employment Disputes & Awards, Prosecution Defence, disputes arising from Tax Investigations, Property & Landlord Disputes, Licence Protection, Data Protection Defence and Jury Service Attendance Allowance (NB excess applies £800 for HR issues, £1,000 for others). £90,000 paid out to members in the last 5 years. There is the option for businesses to upgrade their free cover to include Contractual and Debt disputes, waiving the policy excess and increasing the limit of cover in all areas to £100,000.

BusinessWatch Service – fighting crime

BusinessWatch is a core DNCC service that focuses on business crime reduction. It has a separate membership scheme enabling registered companies to access a range of crime reduction services. The service works in partnership with Derbyshire Constabulary and Nottinghamshire Police. Additional services can include CCTV monitoring and response, key holding, mobile/foot patrols and intruder alarm response.

BusinessWatch Premises Security Review
