Exports DocDerbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber offer an extensive range of export documentation to assist you when selling overseas.

Why do you need Export Documentation?

Documentation is required in some countries to clear customs or it can be required as proof of origin in order to claim preferential duty rates, or for banking purposes when payment is by Letter of Credit.

It is often the case that the documents become more important than the goods, as without the correct documents goods cannot clear customs. Goods stuck in customs are not stored free of charge. It is the exporter or seller that pays these charges.

Export documentation must be accurate, and contain the correct information. It is the job of the Chamber to ensure that this happens.
