Two funded programmes are available - the Award in Leadership and Team Skills, suitable for aspiring and existing supervisors and team leaders; and the Award in Customer Care (for those who are required to deal regularly with internal and/or external customers). Each programme leads to a nationally-recognised Level 2 qualification.
The fully-funded training - which usually costs £550 per delegate - is available for a limited time only. It is being delivered by Challenge Consulting, one of the region's leading staff development specialists.
The four-day course - for team leaders and supervisors - will be held at Challenge Consulting's Nottingham training centre, but can be delivered in-house at businesses which have five or more eligible employees undertaking the training.
The team leader course content will cover the role of the team leader, communication and feedback skills, managing performance, leadership, and how to motivate a team. Full course details can be viewed by clicking here.
The customer care programme will cover fulfilling customer requirements, measuring service delivery and quality, understanding and maintaining customer relationships and handling difficult customer situations. Full course details can be viewed by clicking here.
In order to qualify for funding, employees must attend a two-hour induction session in Nottingham on either 20 May or 29 May, whilst at least two hours of learning must be undertaken by 31 May. Larger group inductions can be held in-company by appointment.
Courses are scheduled for June, September, October and November 2013. A customer service version is also available.
