The Chamber has teamed-up with Nottingham-based Aspiren Ltd to offer a new service aimed at helping businesses demonstrate their Corporate Social Responsibility when bidding for public sector funding and contracts. The online Local Impact Measurement (LIM) tool aims to help businesses assess their wider impact on the local economy - a measurement traditionally only available to large organisations due to the substantial cost involved.
The LIMtool measures information across a range of indicators, including how much individual businesses contribute to the local economy and the community, local employment priorities and the impact they have on the environment. LIMtool brings together information close at hand and provides businesses with clear evidence of their local economic and social impact. Businesses can then use this information to support any applications for public sector funding or work contracts. The LIMtool report can also be used to show customers why using the firm is good for the local economy.
The Chamber will offer the LIMtool to businesses which use its Tender Alert Service. Chamber members can get LIMtool at a special, discounted price by clicking here
