Course Description

All exporters and importers are responsible for their own transactions. Many traders fail to meet the legal and financial demands imposed by HM Revenue & Customs - HMRC (often believing the freight forwarder is responsible for meeting those demands).

HMRC require that full records are kept for all import and export transactions. Poor record keeping and reporting has led to many international traders incurring large fines for non-compliance.

‘Does your company comply?'

Whether you are working in an Export and/or Import Environment, Issuing Reports to Customs, Accountancy or Administration this will be an advantageous course for you.

Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chambers Customs Visits and Audits course, offers practical advice to those attending to ensure that problems are minimised and professional relationships are established and maintained with HMRC.  Delegates will leave the course with ideas and sample procedures, checklist and audit requirements.
