Course Description

All exporters and importers are responsible for their own transactions. Many traders fail to meet the legal and financial demands imposed by HM Revenue & Customs - HMRC (often believing the freight forwarder is responsible for meeting those demands).

HMRC require that full records are kept for all import and export transactions. Poor record keeping and reporting has led to many international traders incurring large fines for non-compliance.
