Specialist procurement consultancy offers clients off the shelf or bespoke e-learning packages to supplement their high quality traditional training.

Ocurem Ltd., www.ocurem.com, have invested in an award winning e-learning package so that it can offer clients high quality e-learning courses to supplement the classroom and workshop based training already offered. Ocurem recognise that in today’s fast moving World, it is not always possible to get all trainees into a classroom at the same time and indeed, in the same location. This can lead to courses being under subscribed or run several times, thereby increasing costs. The availability of the training can also lead to trainees not being trained as quickly as necessary. Ocurem’s response is to invest in an e-learning package that is smart enough to allow not only generic courses, but also bespoke courses, designed for particular clients with a particular learning outcome in mind.

Head of Procurement Practice Jennifer Beech is enthusiastic about the solution. “Often when training is required, it is difficult to get everyone together to run a classroom based course, especially with some of the very senior people that we train. By offering an e-learning solution, our clients are able to undergo the training at their own pace and in their own time. Often this is complimented by more intensive classroom training at some point, but depending on the learning requirement, this is not always necessary”.
