New College Nottingham (ncn) has successfully achieved the prestigious Training Quality Standard (TQS), in recognition of its excellent work with employers.
This national award recognises its commitment to delivering high quality, high impact training and workforce development solutions for employers. TQS is a framework, assessment and certification process, which has recognised ncn’s high degree responsiveness to employers’ training needs. It is a measure of the College’s ability to offer flexible training which is focused on maximising the return on investment for employers. The industry accolade follows the achievement of an “outstanding” grade for the College’s employer responsive provision received from the Government’s Ofsted inspectors last year.
ncn is a leading employee training provider, offering an extensive range of professional programmes. Hundreds of employers across Nottinghamshire, the East Midlands and further afield are already benefiting from the College’s outstanding service.
Geoff Hall, Principal of ncn, said: "I am very proud of the way in which the College is supporting employers, from small companies through to large private and public sector organisations. This award recognises our commitment to providing a quality customer experience."
Managing Director of ncn at Work, Michael Motley; added: "We are thrilled and very proud that the College has achieved the TQS. Employer Engagement is a central pillar of ncn’s strategy and operations. We have achieved a consistent approach across all our provision to employers in sectors as diverse as construction, retail, hospitality, care, business, creative & cultural, logistics and textiles - from foundation level to degree level."
