A free breakfast seminar aimed at helping North Derbyshire businesses win more contracts by shedding light on complex procurement processes takes place in March.
The event, organised by the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce, will be led by Bob Truswell, Head of Procurement for Chesterfield, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire. Those attending will learn the techniques of tendering, with the aim of enabling more local companies to bid for local work.
It takes place at the Coney Green Business Centre in Clay Cross on 3 March 2010, between 8.30am and 10am.
This is the first of two events put together by the Chesterfield Area Regeneration Team's (CHART) Local Strategic Partnership to improve access to information and to help businesses prosper as the economy climbs out of recession. It will also equip firms with the skills to navigate local authority structures to learn more about local procurement opportunities.
To book you place at this free event, call Nick Chischniak, the Chamber's Policy and Representation Manager on 01246 207207 ext.2608 or email nick.chischniak@dncc.co.uk
