The official opening of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce's new offices on the ng2 Business Park in Nottingham on Friday 19 March 2010

The Right Honourable Kenneth Clarke MP is the guest of honour and will cut the red ribbon to officially open the new offices at 10am, launching a day of celebration for the Chamber.

Following Mr Clarke's visit, the Chamber will be hosting an open day to give members, VIP guests and community leaders the opportunity to drop in, meet the Nottingham team and tour these fantastic new facilities. 

Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce is the region's leading voice for business, representing its members and the wider business community on local, regional, national and international issues. The move to ng2 forms part of the Chamber's planned expansion in Nottingham and the rest of the county and will provide a whole host of new facilities for members, including improved conference space and video conferencing services.

Itinerary

Arrival - 9.30am

Official opening, by the Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke MP - 10am

Tour of the office and meet and greet staff - 10.10am-10.30am

Open day commences on a drop in basis from 9.30am till 4.30pm. Tea, coffee and celebration cakes to be served throughout the day.
