Shaanxi province is located in the heart of China boasting a population of more than 37 million. The province's principal city and current capital, Xi'an is one of the four great ancient capitals of China and the eastern terminus of the silk road which leads to Europe, Arabia and Africa. The city is also the home of the famous Terracotta Warriors of the Qin Dynasty. Xi'an has a population of approximately 8.07 million.
The delegation from China will be led by Mr Jing Junhai, Vice Governor of the Provincial Government of Shaanxi Province. He will be accompanied by 5 other senior officials from his Government together with around 30 senior business figures from companies from the key industries within the province: manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace, construction, mining and investment.
Complete with translators and advisors from the East Midlands China Business Bureau on trading with China, this event will enable attendees to explore the possibilities of developing working relationships with the objectives of developing trading links.
