Businesses leaders from Derby and the rest of the county have the chance to go out and visit primary schools, secondary schools and colleges in their area this October, as part of the national Visit Our Schools campaign.
The initiative gives bosses private and public sector organisations the opportunity to hear first-hand from head teachers and young people aged 5-19 about how they can actively help shape their motivation, skills, achievement and employability.
The campaign is being led by the Visit our Schools charity; Education and Employers Taskforce and Derbyshire Education Business Partnership (DEBP) has been chosen to act as the broker for Derbyshire and Derby City - and will be helping to make the visits possible. It takes place between 18 October to 22 October.
If you are a business or school and wish to take part, you can register your interest at www.visitourschools.org or obtain further information from info@debp.co.uk.
